You made it through the phone screen and had your first and/or second round of interviews. It’s possible you’re one of the top three candidates for the position. You’ll start the background screening process next. This process includes things like verification of education and past employment, reference checks, credit and felony checks, and a drug test.
You completed the background screening and are now offered the job. Congratulations and welcome to Texans! The decision to hire you is based on many factors like your skills, experiences and fit for the job and our culture. Now we want to introduce you to Texans.
Your first day is spent in New Hire Orientation. Here we introduce the company, review our products and services, explain your benefits, get you familiar with our vision, mission and goals, and then take you on a tour of our headquarters. Depending on your position, your second day could include systems training or you might head to your department to begin learning the processes and procedures there or meet with your new manager.
Your training continues throughout your first year with a standard list of online classes as well as trainer-facilitated opportunities at our university.
Our goal from day one is to make you feel welcome, valued and challenged so your time at Texans is productive and fulfilling.
