Business Ethics Strategy

A company's reputation is one of its most valuable assets. It sets the tone for the relationships that a company enjoys with its employees, members, stakeholders, suppliers and the community at large.

We cannot state strongly enough our commitment to the principles set forth in Texans Credit Union's Ethics Strategy. The components address many subjects, but the message is always the same: In all aspects of our business, all of our employees are expected to "do the right thing." Texans employees, through their conduct over the years, are responsible for our excellent reputation in the business community. All of us, from the board of directors to the newest employee, have a personal responsibility to continue to maintain these high standards.

Our Ethics Strategy provides guidance and direction on our ethical standards and expectations. This strategy consists of our basic standards of business practices, as well as our professional and personal conduct. Such standards require honesty and candor in our activities. These standards have both personal and corporate implications. All employees of Texans are expected to perform their assigned duties to the best of their abilities and in the best interests of the Credit Union, its members, other employees and its stakeholders.

Our reputation depends on the decisions we make and the actions we undertake personally each day. Our values define how we evaluate our decisions and actions and how we conduct our business. Our success depends on each individual's commitment to these values. Our philosophy is that no success is worth the expense of compromising ethical behavior.
