The U.S. Department of the Treasury is moving to all-electronic benefit payments - this will allow funds to be deposited to your account through paperless methods. There are great benefits to going electronic:
Anyone who receives federal benefit payments (Social Security, Veterans Affairs, Supplemental Security Income, etc.) by paper check will be required to switch to an electronic payment option by March 1, 2013, which can include signing up to have your benefit payments direct deposited into your Texans CU account!

If you do not choose direct deposit by this deadline, you may be issued a Direct Express® MasterCard® by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
