Checking Accounts

Dividends on all Share Accounts, Dividend Bearing Checking Accounts and Money Market Accounts will be compounded monthly and credited each calendar month. Dividends are computed using the "daily balance" method and begin to accrue on the business day cash and non-cash items, such as paper checks, are deposited to your account.
1. APY is accurate as of 4/05/12 . Fees may change at any time without prior notice. Fees or other conditions could reduce the earnings on the account.
2. High Rate Checking is no longer offered for new accounts. Current High Rate Checking accountholders, please note: to earn highest qualified APY, you must have at least 15 Texans Check Card transactions (ATM withdrawals not included) and at least one direct deposit or ACH Debit posted to your account monthly. Non-qualified accounts will earn the lowest APY quoted.
