New Year's Closure

All of our branches and offices will be closing at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 31st, and will be closed on Thursday, January 1st, in observance of the New Year's holiday.

Annual Audit Notice As part of the Texans Credit Union annual audit, our auditor, Doeren Mayhew, will be mailing account confirmation letters to a sample group of our membership in December. These letters will ask you to verify September 2025 month end balances on your accounts. Separate letters will be mailed for deposit accounts and loan accounts. All responses should be mailed directly to the auditing firm using the prepaid postage envelopes provided in the mailing.

Texas Residents

If you live in the great state of Texas, you can become a Texans member—it's that simple!

Employees

If you work for a Texans Preferred Business, you're eligible for membership as an employee.

Family

Is one of your immediate family members a Texans member? Great news—you can be too!
 

Once a Texan, Always a Texan

Once you join, you're a member for life, regardless of where you live, work or go to school after membership is established. Membership at Texans Credit Union is open to:

  • Texas residents through Texas Consumer Council membership (Don't worry—we take care of your TCC membership enrollment and fee!)
  • Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in the Texas counties of Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, Rockwall, Tarrant, Travis, and Williamson.
  • Employees who work for a Texans Preferred Business.
  • Immediate family of a current Texans Credit Union member.

How Do I Join?

It's easy to become a Texan! If you are 18 or older, you can complete your membership application online or open an account at any local branch. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, SSN, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Provide your personal information, such as your address, contact information, and Social Security number.

Fund your new Texans Savings account (your ticket to membership) with a minimum deposit of $5 or more.
