Guaranteed Asset Protection GAP PLUS
Texans offers Guaranteed Asset Protection Plus (GAP PLUS) so you're not left paying for a vehicle you no longer own. Protecting your vehicle with GAP PLUS helps cover the remaining balance on your loan if you experience a total loss before it is paid off.
Most insurance policies only cover the actual cash value of your asset. GAP PLUS settles the difference. With our GAP PLUS product, in the event of a total loss, you may be able to pay off your remaining financial contract balance including the deductible up to $1,000.1 Additionally, if you finance a replacement vehicle with us within 90 days, GAP PLUS can reduce your loan balance by $2,500.
Mechanical Breakdown Protection
The vast majority of costly mechanical and electrical failures occur after the factory warranty has expired. Texans offers Mechanical Breakdown Protection to help you avoid expensive repairs.
Texans offers a full complement of affordable coverage options. Our four levels are designed to protect your investment and reduce out-of-pocket expenses should a mechanical breakdown occur.
We go the extra mile by providing Roadside Assistance, Rental Vehicle, Tire Road Hazard, and Trip Interruption services with every level to protect you from the unexpected.
Multi-Shield Protection
Multi-Shield is a complete vehicle protection program for those daily mishaps that occur with your vehicle. The Multi-Shield program includes:

Credit Life and Disability Coverage
Credit insurance does more than pay off or reduce your loan. It provides security and peace of mind for you and your family by protecting your investment and credit. Texans offers both Credit Life and Credit Disability Protection to help protect yourself and your family from a potential financial burden.
In the event of the covered borrower’s death, your Texans loan balance may be paid off by Credit Life coverage.2
If the borrower is unable to work due to illness or disabling injury and under a physician's care, Credit Disability coverage helps cover your Texans loan payment.3
