Message From the CEO - July 2025

Fellow Texans,

I hope your summer is off to a fantastic start! As the days get longer and the Texas sun shines a little brighter, it’s a great time to reflect on the progress we’ve made so far this year. At Texans Credit Union, we’ve been hard at work delivering new products, deepening our community impact, and creating meaningful experiences for you, our members. I’m excited to share a few highlights from the first half of 2025.

In February, we launched the Texans Two-Step Checking Account, designed to help you save while managing your everyday finances. This innovative account links your checking to a high-yield savings account. Plus, with ATM refunds, you can access your cash wherever you are without worrying about extra charges. Some of the many ways we’re working to bring you more value and convenience.

April brought a burst of superhero energy as we celebrated National Credit Union Youth Month to inspire the next generation of Super Savers. We’re proud to share that Texans is currently helping around 4,000 young savers collectively save over $6.6 million. A true testament to the power of starting early!

In May, we launched Instant Transfers, a cutting-edge enhancement that allows members to move money between accounts in real time. You can now select Instant Transfer as your Delivery Speed when making a transfer in Digital Banking and your Texans mobile app. Then in June we rolled out My Texans Offers, which shows the loans you are pre-qualified for right in digital banking, making it easier than ever to finance the next big purchase.

June was a month of meaningful milestones at Texans. We launched our first-ever Summer Intern Program, welcoming a talented group of five college students from the University of Texas at Dallas, including an existing Texans team member. They are gaining hands-on experience across departments from marketing and finance to IT and human resources and are already making a positive impact. We’re excited to have them as part of Team Texans this summer.

We also celebrated our inaugural Texans Gives Back Week, spotlighting our incredible non-profit partners and introducing three new ones: Patriot Paws, Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support, and Lovepacs. Through Texans Gives Back, our team members are dedicating time and energy to supporting these organizations, along with long-standing partners like HopeKids, Dress for Success, Special Olympics Texas, and the North Texas Food Bank. Giving back is at the heart of who we are, and we’re proud to serve the communities where we live and work. So far in 2025, Texans team members have dedicated 334 hours of volunteering, and we’re just getting started!
