Message From the CEO - December 2025
BY: David Frazier
Fellow Texans,
As 2025 draws to a close, I want to wish you and your loved ones a joyful and safe holiday season. This is a special time to reflect on our shared accomplishments and the spirit of community that defines Texans Credit Union.
Since my last update, we’ve made significant strides to better serve you, our members. In August, we introduced our new First-Time Homebuyer programs, making it easier for Texans to achieve their dream of homeownership. We enhanced our loan payment capabilities, providing more flexible and convenient options for managing your finances. Your virtual assistant Chip also received an upgrade to provide 24/7 assistance. These improvements are designed to support you at every stage of your financial journey.
October was another exciting month for Texans. We unveiled our new Debit Card Design Studio, giving members the opportunity to personalize their debit cards with unique designs that reflect their individual style. Alongside this, we rolled out the Texans Roundup Program. This innovative feature, now available in digital banking, allows members to round up debit card purchases and direct those savings to their own accounts, to local charities, or both. Members can also make one-time or recurring charitable donations, further strengthening our commitment to giving back.
Our commitment to giving back to the community is stronger than ever. This year so far, Team Texans has volunteered 1,018 hours of supporting our neighbors. From cheering on athletes at Special Olympics and assisting at Genesis Women’s Shelter thrift store, to helping Patriot PAWS with maintenance work for their facility and donating toys for the HopeKids Holiday Toy Drive, our team has shown what it means to serve with heart. We’re also thrilled to be part of the holiday magic at Santa’s Village in Richardson, where Team Texans is volunteering throughout December to help create a festive experience for families in our community. These efforts reflect the spirit of Texans Credit Union—caring for our members and the communities we call home.
We also had the opportunity to sponsor and participate in some of North Texas’ most beloved events. At McKinney Oktoberfest, our team joined thousands of Historic Downtown McKinney for three days of music, food, and cultural celebration. At the Plano International Festival in Haggard Park, we connected with families and celebrated the rich diversity of our community with interactive activities and giveaways. And at the Festival at the Switchyard in Carrollton, we enjoyed live entertainment and family fun while sharing Texans’ commitment to community engagement. These events allow us to meet members where they are and celebrate the vibrant spirit of the communities we serve.
As we celebrate the holidays, I want to thank you for your membership, trust, and generosity. Your support inspires us every day to serve with excellence and compassion. May your season be filled with warmth, joy, and the company of family and friends.
We look forward to sharing more exciting updates in the new year and continuing to grow together as a community.
Yours in service,
David Frazier
