Texans Credit Union Announces Ben Hart as New CFO

Richardson, TX (June 15, 2020) – Texans Credit Union President and CEO, David Frazier, is pleased to announce Benjamin Hart as the organization’s new Chief Financial Officer. Hart will join Texans on July 6, 2020

“I am thrilled to have Ben joining the Texans CU family. His knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm will help Texans excel to being a leader within the credit union industry. Ben’s financial and regulatory expertise coupled with his commitment to excellent member service and a strong team culture make Ben a valuable addition to Texans Credit Union,” Frazier stated. Hart joins Texans from Texas Tech Federal Credit Union ($250M in assets) in Lubbock, TX

where he’s served as the Chief Financial Officer for the last four years. Prior to Texas Tech Federal Credit Union, Ben held several positions within the National Credit Union Association (NCUA) including Deputy Director of Supervision and multiple Examiner roles. He spent four years with the Texas Credit Union Department (TCUD) as a Financial Examiner. Ben is a proud graduate of Texas Tech University where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on Finance as well as a Master’s of Business Administration.

“Although we will miss our friends and family at Texas Tech Federal Credit Union, we are beyond excited to relocate to the Dallas area and become part of the Texans CU family,” Hart said.Ben’s wife, Nikah, is an Occupational Therapist and they have two daughters.
