Texans Credit Union Announces Three Internal Promotions

Richardson, TX (November 30, 2020) – Texans Credit Union President and CEO, David Frazier, is pleased to announce three internal promotions – Jennifer (Jenni) Short, Matthew (Matt) Moore, and Tracy Montez will serve as the Chief People Officer, Senior Vice President – Retail, and Senior Vice President – Controller, respectively.

“Jenni, Matt, and Tracy are invaluable to the success of Texans Credit Union and clearly define the values we want in our leadership team. I am proud of the work they have done for the credit union, the staff, and our members during their tenure, and I am looking forward to many more years of success with them as part of the team,” Frazier stated.

Jenni Short will assume the role of Chief People Officer after serving as the Director of Human Resources for two years. Joining Texans Credit Union in 2018, she has been responsible for a positive cultural shift within the organization overseeing the Human Resources and Training and Development departments. Prior to Texans, Jenni spent 13 years with Target, Corp. and has nearly 20 years of Human Resources experience. Jenni graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Human Resources. She is a Senior Certified Professional in the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP).

 

Matt Moore has been part of Texans Credit Union for 13 years, and has been named the Senior Vice President – Retail. During his tenure at Texans Credit Union, he has served in various departments including Branch Operations, Consumer Lending, the Member Connect Call Center, and Real Estate Lending. During his time in the lending department he had direct supervisory over Consumer, Indirect, and Real Estate lending before moving to oversee the entire Retail Branch network. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Colorado Mesa University, where he played tennis.

 

Tracy Montez will serve as the Senior Vice President – Controller after having served as the institution’s Controller for five years. In her 23-year tenure with the credit union, Tracy has served in various roles in the Audit, Records, and Accounting departments. She provides an extensive knowledge of finance and financial institutions, and has been an essential component of safeguarding the institution’s assets. Tracy received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
