Personal Loan FAQ

You can increase the personal line of credit limit with the help of one of our representatives by phone at 972.348.2000 or at your local branch.
Most decisions are available within 2-3 business hours. If your application requires a more detailed review or is submitted outside of business hours, it may take longer. A loan advisor will contact you by phone or email once an initial loan decision has been made.
You may pay off part or all of the loan at any time with no prepayment fee or penalty. You could pay off the personal loan via online banking.
If you want to transfer money to a Texans checking/savings account, you will receive the money in about 30 minutes. Transfers to your other institution's savings/checking account will take 24 hours. If you choose to mail it, it will take 3-5 business days.
A personal loan is an unsecured installment loan. Unsecured means the loan is not backed by collateral such as a home, boat or car. Just like other installment loans, they are paid back in equal monthly payments with a fixed interest rate.
